Vietnam fruits and vegetables imports down 48.02 percent in February 2026 / China -10.76%, USA – 80.23%

Vietnam imported fruits and vegetables to the tune of US$193 million in February, down from US$372 million in January, a change of -48.02 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year to date, Vietnam imported US$565 million worth of fruits and vegetables by the end of February.

China led in February with US$101 million, down from US$113 million in January, bringing year-to-date imports to US$214 million.

The United States followed with US$28 million, alongside Myanmar at US$11 million and Australia at US$10 million, all recording sharp month-on-month declines.

India rounded out the top five with US$8 million in February, with all major suppliers reporting lower import values compared to January.
