ToggleIn February, Vietnam exported US$213 million worth of goods to Belgium, down 34.63 percent over January, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year, Vietnam has exported US$539 million worth of goods to Belgium.
Vietnam exported US$56.70 million worth of footwear to Belgium in February, down from US$108.07 million in January, a change of -47.53 percent.
Iron and steel exports rose to US$32.24 million, while coffee exports reached US$31.65 million, with coffee declining month on month.
Textiles and garments and other products totalled US$24.15 million and US$18.70 million respectively, both recording sharp declines compared to January.

Vietnam trade with Belgium YTD
In February, Vietnam imported US$32.15 million worth of goods from Belgium and exported US$213.15 million to Belgium, for total trade worth US$245.30 million, and leaving a trade surplus of US$180.99 million.
Two-way trade so far this year between Vietnam and Belgium has reached US$621 million, with Vietnam importing US$082 million worth of goods and exporting US$539 million worth of goods.

Belgian ambassador meets with PM
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met Belgian Ambassador Karl Van Den Bossche to discuss bilateral cooperation, including trade, investment and support for war legacy remediation.
