Vietnam exported confectionery and cereal to the tune of US$129 million in March, up from US$76.01 million in February, a change of 69.72 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year to date, Vietnam had exported US$320 million worth of confectionery and cereal by the end of March.
The United States accounted for US$31 million of Vietnam’s confectionery and cereal exports in March, up from US$12 million in February, a 166.89 percent increase.
Year to date, exports to the United States reached US$57 million.
Japan followed with US$13 million in March, up from US$9 million, a 39.42 percent increase.
Year to date, exports to Japan totalled US$37 million.
Cambodia recorded US$10 million in March, up from US$6 million, a 64.23 percent increase.
Year to date, exports to Cambodia reached US$25 million.
South Korea accounted for US$8 million in March, up from US$5 million, a 43.97 percent increase.
Year to date, exports to South Korea totalled US$20 million.
China rounded out the top five with US$6 million in March, up from US$3 million, an 89.76 percent increase.
Year to date, exports to China reached US$16 million.
