In February, Vietnam exported US$2,456 million worth of goods to South Korea, down 7.76 percent over January, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year, Vietnam has exported US$5,119 million worth of goods to South Korea.
Vietnam exported US$705.51 million worth of computers to South Korea in February, down from US$878.42 million in January, a change of 19.68 percent.
It also exported US$705.41 million worth of phones to South Korea in February, up from US$407.30 million in January, a change of 73.19 percent.
Vietnam exported US$210.32 million worth of textiles and garments to South Korea in February, down from US$264.88 million in January, a change of 20.60 percent.
It also exported US$196.26 million worth of machinery, equipment, tools, and instruments to South Korea in February, down from US$270.97 million in January, a change of 27.57 percent.
Vietnam exported US$155.85 million worth of other means of transportation, parts and accessories thereof to South Korea in February, up from US$150.36 million in January, a change of 3.65 percent.

Vietnam trade with South Korea YTD
In February, Vietnam imported US$5,534.47 million worth of goods from South Korea and exported US$2,456.24 million to South Korea, for total trade worth US$7,990.70 million, and leaving a trade deficit of US$3,078.23 million.
Two-way trade so far this year between Vietnam and South Korea has reached US$16,756 million, with Vietnam importing US$11,637 million worth of goods and exporting US$5,119 million worth of goods.

Vietnam-South Korea trade relations
Vietnam and South Korea have developed one of Southeast Asia’s closest economic partnerships, driven by deep trade and investment ties.
Bilateral trade has expanded rapidly under the Vietnam–Korea Free Trade Agreement, which has reduced tariffs and strengthened supply chain integration between the two economies.
