In February, Vietnam exported US$405 million worth of goods to the UAE, down 30.30 percent from January, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year, Vietnam has exported US$986 million worth of goods to the UAE.
Vietnam exported US$264.15 million worth of phones to the UAE in February, down from US$329.99 million in January, a change of 19.95 percent.
It also exported US$46.20 million worth of computers to the UAE in February, down from US$51.94 million in January, a change of 11.06 percent.
Vietnam exported US$29.08 million worth of other products to the UAE in February, down from US$80.14 million in January, a change of 63.72 percent.
It also exported US$12.12 million worth of machinery, equipment, tools, and instruments to the UAE in February, down from US$30.54 million in January, a change of 60.30 percent.
Vietnam exported US$11.33 million worth of footwear to the UAE in February, down from US$15.10 million in January, a change of 25.01 percent.

Vietnam trade with the UAE YTD
In February, Vietnam imported US$26.54 million worth of goods from UAE and exported US$404.87 million to UAE, for total trade worth US$431.41 million, and leaving a trade surplus of US$378.32 million.
Two-way trade so far this year between Vietnam and UAE has reached US$1,046 million, with Vietnam importing US$61 million worth of goods and exporting US$986 million worth of goods.

FPT Group and the United Arab Emirates technology group G42 agreed to invest up to US$1 billion in a hyperscale data centre, artificial intelligence and cloud computing infrastructure in Vietnam.

Vietnam-UAE trade relations
Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates have developed steadily expanding trade ties, supported by complementary economic structures and growing demand across sectors.
