In February, Vietnam imported US$161.89 million worth of goods from the Philippines, down from US$246.98 million in January, a change of -34.45 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year, Vietnam has imported US$410 million worth of goods from the Philippines.
Vietnam imported US$97.11 million worth of computers in February, down from US$172.44 million in January, a change of -43.69 percent.
Machinery, equipment, tools and instruments totalled US$32.05 million, while insulated wires and cables reached US$10.51 million, with cables recording an increase.
Other products and fishery products stood at US$6.67 million and US$3.76 million, respectively, with fishery products rising slightly month on month.

Vietnam’s trade with the Philippines this year
In February, Vietnam imported goods worth US$161.89 million from the Philippines and exported US$434.41 million, bringing total trade to US$596.30 million and resulting in a trade surplus of US$272.52 million.
Two-way trade so far this year between Vietnam and the Philippines has reached US$1,290.39 million, with Vietnam importing US$409.64 million worth of goods and exporting US$880.74 million.

Xanh GSM entry strategy in the Philippines
Green Xentro will deploy 2,500 electric taxis in the Philippines under the Green GSM platform, starting with an initial rollout in Rizal province.
The project expands a memorandum of understanding signed in October 2025, increasing the planned fleet from 2,000 to 2,500 vehicles.
