Vietnam fruits and vegetables imports up 19.12 percent in March 2026 / China -0.23%, USA +69.18%

Vietnam imported fruits and vegetables to the tune of US$230 million in March, up from US$193 million in February, a change of 19.12 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year to date, Vietnam had imported US$796 million worth of fruits and vegetables by the end of March.

China accounted for US$101 million of Vietnam’s fruits and vegetables imports in March, broadly unchanged from US$101 million in February, a marginal increase of 0.23 percent. Year to date, China has shipped US$315 million to Vietnam.

After China was the United States, making up US$47 million in March, up from US$28 million in February, a rise of 69.18 percent. Year to date, the United States has shipped US$214 million to Vietnam.

Next was Cambodia, contributing US$13 million in March, up from US$6 million in February, an increase of 114.29 percent. Year to date, Cambodia has shipped US$27 million to Vietnam.

Following Cambodia was Australia, representing US$13 million in March, up from US$10 million in February, a gain of 26.86 percent. Year to date, Australia has shipped US$57 million to Vietnam.

Rounding out the top five was Myanmar, with US$12 million in March, up from US$11 million in February, an increase of 7.81 percent. Year to date, Myanmar has shipped US$38 million to Vietnam.
