Vietnam-UK trade relations

Vietnam and the United Kingdom have built a strong trade relationship grounded in long term economic ties and expanding commercial cooperation.

The UK Vietnam Free Trade Agreement preserves the market access benefits of the earlier EU agreement, reducing tariffs and supporting trade in textiles, electronics, agriculture and services.

Bilateral trade has increased as UK firms deepen investment in finance, education, renewable energy and consumer goods, while Vietnamese exporters gain greater access to the UK market.

Ongoing collaboration in digital economy, clean energy and supply chain resilience reflects the broader strategic partnership between the two countries.
