Milk in Vietnam
Vietnam’s milk and milk products industry is one of the most developed segments of its food and beverage sector.
It includes large domestic producers, foreign-invested joint ventures, and a growing network of dairy farms across the country.
Vinamilk dominates the market, followed by other companies such as Moc Chau Milk, Hanoimilk, and IDP.
The industry benefits from rising incomes, urbanisation, and strong consumer demand for processed and fortified dairy products.
Challenges include dependence on imported milk powder, fluctuating global prices, and the need for greater domestic raw milk production to ensure long-term sustainability.
