ToggleVietnam exported coffee to the tune of US$394 million in October, down 14.68 percent over September, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year to date, Vietnam had exported US$7,416 million worth of coffee by the end of October.
In October, Vietnam’s top export destination for coffee was Germany, accounting for US$46 million worth. This was up 19.55 percent over September. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$987 million worth of coffee to Germany.
After Germany, Italy was the next biggest buyer of coffee from Vietnam. There was US$35 million worth of coffee shipped from Vietnam to Italy in October, a fall of 37.26 percent. Its total for the year to date is now sitting at US$582 million.
Japan was also a major buyer, with US$34 million worth of coffee shipped to the country from Vietnam in October. This was a up 10.66 percent compared to September, for a total of US$513 million for the year so far.
Rounding out the top five was Spain spending US$30 million on Vietnam’s coffee, a -2.39 percent change for a total of US$549 million for the year, and Thailand with US$26 million, a -17.62 percent change month-on-month, for a total of US$278 million.

Long An Food Processing Export JSC
Long An Food Processing Export JSC (LAF) processes and exports cashew nuts, coffee, and agricultural products.
LAF closed at VND 19,100 on Monday down 0.15 percent with 3,000 shares traded, worth VND 6 million.
Foreign ownership in LAF is currently capped at 50.0 percent, with current foreign ownership sitting at 2.5 percent.
Vinacafe Bien Hoa JSC
Vinacafe Bien Hoa JSC (VCF) processes and distributes instant coffee and beverage products under the Vinacafe brand.
VCF closed at VND 285,500 on Monday up 0.1 percent with 1,000 shares traded, worth VND 29 million.
Foreign ownership in VCF is currently capped at 49.0 percent, with current foreign ownership sitting at 0.5 percent.

Coffee removed from “recipricol” tariffs
President Donald Trump signed an executive order earlier this month rolling back tariff increases on coffee, beef, tomatoes, bananas and other agricultural imports.
Theses goods will no longer face “reciprocal” rates of 10–50 percent.
2025 coffee crop outlook positive
Farmers in Gia Lai, a key coffee-growing province in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, are reportedly enjoying high yields and strong prices this season.
Domestic coffee prices are around VND 25,000 or about US$0.95 per kilogram of fresh beans and VND 118,000 or about US$4.48 per kilogram of dried beans.
