Vietnam’s non-wood furniture industry
Vietnam has developed a large furniture manufacturing industry focused on wooden products, supported by competitive labour costs, established supply chains, and access to imported and domestic timber.
The sector is export-oriented, with major markets including the United States, the European Union, and Japan, while facing increasing pressure from sustainability standards, traceability requirements, and trade compliance rules.
