Vietnam’s cashew nut industry
Vietnam is the world’s largest processor and exporter of cashew nuts, importing significant volumes of raw cashews and adding value through processing for export.
The industry is heavily export-oriented, supplying markets such as the United States, China, and the European Union, while facing margin pressure from raw nut prices, labour costs, and stricter food safety standards.
