Vietnam imported US$291.83 million worth of computers, electrical products, spare-parts and components thereof from Malaysia in November. This was down from US$338.58 million in October, a change of -13.81 percent.
Vietnam imported US$99.50 million worth of machines, equipment, tools and instruments from Malaysia in November. This was down from US$114.83 million in October, a change of -13.35 percent.
Vietnam imported US$55.82 million worth of petroleum products from Malaysia in November. This was down from US$63.28 million in October, a change of -11.79 percent.
Vietnam imported US$44.85 million worth of other base metals from Malaysia in November. This was up from US$40.55 million in October, a change of 10.60 percent.

Vietnam exports to Malaysia
In November, Vietnam exported US$473 million worth of goods to Malaysia, up 3.20 percent over October, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year, Vietnam has exported US$4,806 million worth of goods to Malaysia.

Vietnam trade with Malaysia
In November, Vietnam imported US$805.98 million worth of goods from Malaysia and exported US$472.55 million to Malaysia, for total trade worth US$1,278.53 million, and leaving a trade deficit of US$333.43 million.
Two-way trade so far this year between Vietnam and Malaysia has reached US$14,780 million, with Vietnam importing US$9,974 million worth of goods and exporting US$4,806 million worth of goods.

Vietnam-Malaysia trade relations
Vietnam and Malaysia established diplomatic relations in 1973 and upgraded ties to a strategic partnership in 2015, creating a stable framework for expanding bilateral trade and investment cooperation.
Trade relations are underpinned by regional agreements including the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership, which have facilitated steady growth in two-way trade and supply chain integration.
