Indonesia buys US$518 million of Vietnam’s exports in November, up 10.24 percent month-on-month

In November, Vietnam exported US$518 million worth of goods to Indonesia, up 10.24 percent over October, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

So far this year, Vietnam has exported US$5,256 million worth of goods to Indonesia.

Vietnam exported US$155.84 million worth of other means of transportation, parts and accessories thereof to Indonesia in November. This was up from US$65.93 million in October, a change of 136.36 percent.

Adding to that, Vietnam exported US$38.52 million worth of textiles and garments to Indonesia in November. This was down from US$42.68 million in October, a change of -9.74 percent.

It also exported US$32.16 million worth of textile, leather and footwear materials and auxiliaries to Indonesia in November. This was down from US$40.92 million in October, a change of -21.41 percent.

Finally, Vietnam exported US$31.63 million worth of machines, equipment, tools and instruments to Indonesia in November. This was down from US$31.87 million in October, a change of -0.77 percent.

Vietnam imports from Indonesia

In November, Vietnam imported US$964.90 million worth of goods from Indonesia, up from US$939.25 million in October, a change of 2.73 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

So far this year, Vietnam has imported US$10,348 million worth of goods from Indonesia.

Vietnam trade with Indonesia

In November, Vietnam imported goods worth US$964.90 million from Indonesia and exported US$518.20 million, bringing total trade to US$1,483.10 million and resulting in a trade deficit of US$446.70 million.

Two-way trade so far this year between Vietnam and Indonesia has reached US$15,603.46 million, with Vietnam importing US$10,347.67 million worth of goods and exporting US$5,255.79 million.
