Outbound investment
In early November it was reported that FPT had signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Indonesia’s LAPI ITB and Digital Utama Lestari to support the country’s national digital transformation programme.

Vietnam-Indonesia trade relations
Vietnam and Indonesia established diplomatic relations in 1955 and upgraded ties to a Strategic Partnership in 2013. Both are key ASEAN economies with rapidly growing bilateral trade driven by manufacturing, agriculture, and energy cooperation.
Indonesia is one of Vietnam’s top regional trading partners, supplying coal, automotive parts, and palm oil, while importing rice, electronics, and garments from Vietnam.
The countries also cooperate under the ASEAN Economic Community framework.
