Indonesia ships US$964.90 million of goods to Vietnam in November, up 2.73 percent month-on-month

In November, Vietnam imported US$964.90 million worth of goods from Indonesia, up from US$939.25 million in October, a change of 2.73 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

So far this year, Vietnam has imported US$10,348 million worth of goods from Indonesia.

Vietnam imported US$139.79 million worth of iron and steel from Indonesia in November. This was up from US$89.29 million in October, a change of 56.55 percent.

Vietnam imported US$126.14 million worth of coal from Indonesia in November. This was down from US$143.18 million in October, a change of -11.90 percent.

Vietnam imported US$100.97 million worth of motor vehicles from Indonesia in November. This was up from US$77.12 million in October, a change of 30.93 percent.

Vietnam imported US$99.41 million worth of other base metals from Indonesia in November. This was up from US$82.81 million in October, a change of 20.05 percent.

Vietnam trade with Indonesia

In November, Vietnam imported goods worth US$964.90 million from Indonesia and exported US$518.20 million, bringing total trade to US$1,483.10 million and resulting in a trade deficit of US$446.70 million.

Two-way trade so far this year between Vietnam and Indonesia has reached US$15,603.46 million, with Vietnam importing US$10,347.67 million worth of goods and exporting US$5,255.79 million.

Vietnam-Indonesia trade relations
