ToggleVietnam exported computers, electrical products, and spare-parts to the tune of US$9,597 million in November, down from US$9.8 billion in October, a change of -1.99 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year to date, Vietnam had exported US$96,917 million worth of computers and electrical products by the end of November.
The USA accounted for US$3,762 million worth of Vietnam’s computers and electrical products exports in November. This was down from US$3,868 million in computers and electrical products exports in October, a change of -2.73 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$37,904 million worth of computers, electrical products, and spare-parts to the USA.
After the USA was China making up US$1,305 million worth of Vietnam’s computers and electrical products exports in November. This was down from US$1,438 million in computers and electrical products exports in October, a change of -9.28 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$15,283 million worth of computers, electrical products, and spare-parts to China.
Next was Hong Kong taking US$881 million worth of Vietnam’s computers and electrical products exports in November. This was up from US$762 million in computers and electrical products exports in October, a change of 15.57 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$9,694 million worth of computers, electrical products, and spare-parts to Hong Kong.
Following Hong Kong was South Korea representing US$719 million worth of Vietnam’s computers and electrical products exports in November. This was down from US$734 million in computers, electrical products, and spare-parts exports in October, a change of -2.05 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$7,765 million worth of computers, electrical products, and spare-parts to South Korea.
Rounding out the top five was the Netherlands constituting US$305 million worth of Vietnam’s computers and electrical products exports in November. This was down from US$390 million in computers and electrical products exports in October, a change of -21.71 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$3,142 million worth of computers, electrical products, and spare-parts to the Netherlands.

FPT Retail JSC
FPT Retail JSC (FRT) operates FPT Shop and F.Studio retail chains selling electronics, phones, and IT products.
FRT closed at VND 140,000 on Friday down 10 percent with 10,481,000 shares traded, worth VND 150,944 million.
Foreign ownership in FRT is currently capped at 49.0 percent, with current foreign ownership sitting at 32.2 percent.
Mobile World Investment Corporation
Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG) runs retail chains including Thegioididong, Dien May Xanh, and Bach Hoa Xanh, selling electronics and groceries.
MWG closed at VND 78,500 on Friday down 3.8 percent with 88,965,000 shares traded, worth VND 714,223 million.
Foreign ownership in MWG is currently capped at 49.0 percent, with current foreign ownership sitting at 46.5 percent.

Vietnam’s electronics industry
Vietnam’s electronics industry is a key pillar of its manufacturing base, driven by strong foreign direct investment and deep integration into global supply chains.
