ToggleVietnam’s chemical exports rose 1.98 percent month-on-month to US$262.03 million in September 2025, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year-to-date exports reached US$2.06 billion, with China remaining the largest destination at US$82.27 million, up 31.75 percent from August.
Shipments to Indonesia increased sharply by 45.52 percent to US$17.74 million, while exports to Japan rose 10.15 percent to US$39.71 million.
Exports to India declined 17.16 percent to US$28.70 million, and Malaysia dropped 23.30 percent to US$10.10 million.
Taiwan recorded the steepest fall at 62.25 percent.
The steady overall increase reflects strong regional demand for industrial and processed chemicals despite mixed results across key markets.

PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer and Chemicals Corp. (DPM) integrates petrochemical and fertilizer operations, producing chemical inputs that support domestic farming as well as chemical processing industries.
DPM closed at VND 24,000 on Friday down 0 percent with 52,124,000 shares traded, worth VND 126,334 million.

South Basic Chemicals
South Basic Chemicals Joint Stock Company (CSV) manufactures and supplies basic inorganic and chlorine-soda chemicals from its production bases in southern Vietnam.
CSV closed at VND 31,950 on Friday up 0.45 percent with 13,621,000 shares traded, worth VND 43,753 million.
Foreign ownership in CSV is currently capped at 50 percent, with current foreign ownership sitting at 1.1 percent.
