ToggleVietnam exported toys and sporting goods to the tune of US$848 million in November, down from US$962 million in October, a change of -11.87 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year to date, Vietnam had exported US$8,370 million worth of toys and sporting goods by the end of November.
The USA accounted for US$573 million worth of Vietnam’s toys and sporting goods exports in November. This was down from US$741 million in toys and sporting goods exports in October, a change of -22.58 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$5,811 million worth of toys and sporting goods to the USA.
After the USA was Japan making up US$51 million worth of Vietnam’s toys and sporting goods exports in November. This was up from US$51 million in toys and sporting goods exports in October, a change of 1.64 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$487 million worth of toys and sporting goods to Japan.
Next was the Netherlands taking US$31 million worth of Vietnam’s toys and sporting goods exports in November. This was up from US$14 million in toys and sporting goods exports in October, a change of 115.69 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$185 million worth of toys and sporting goods to the Netherlands.
Following the Netherlands was the UK representing US$24 million worth of Vietnam’s toys and sporting goods exports in November. This was down from US$34 million in toys and sporting goods exports in October, a change of -30.21 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$279 million worth of toys and sporting goods to the UK.
Rounding out the top five was Brazil constituting US$23 million worth of Vietnam’s toys and sporting goods exports in November. This was up from US$3 million in toys and sporting goods exports in October, a change of 715.99 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$61 million worth of toys and sporting goods to Brazil.

GDT closed at VND 20,800 on Wednesday down 0.1 percent with 145,000 shares traded, worth VND 303 million.
Foreign ownership in GDT is currently capped at 49.9 percent, with current foreign ownership sitting at 5.8 percent.
