ToggleIn October, Vietnam exported US$227 million worth of goods to Brazil, up 2.23 percent over September, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year, Vietnam has exported US$2,228 million worth of goods to Brazil.
Vietnam exported US$45.11 million worth of telephones, mobile phones and parts thereof to Brazil in October. This was up from US$42.37 million in September, a change of 6.47 percent.
Vietnam exported US$40.15 million worth of other means of transportation, and parts to Brazil in October. This was down from US$41.44 million in September, a change of -3.12 percent.
Vietnam exported US$36.89 million worth of computers, electrical products, and spare-parts to Brazil in October. This was up from US$34.63 million in September, a change of 6.55 percent.
Vietnam exported US$20.34 million worth of footwear to Brazil in October. This was up from US$17.62 million in September, a change of 15.45 percent.

Imports from Brazil
In October, Vietnam imported US$442.24 million worth of goods from Brazil, up from US$415.10 million in September, a change of 6.54 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year, Vietnam has imported US$4,189 million worth of goods from Brazil.

Vietnam trade with Brazil
In October, Vietnam imported goods worth US$442.24 million from Brazil and exported US$227.34 million, bringing total trade to US$669.58 million and resulting in a trade deficit of US$214.89 million.
Two-way trade so far this year between Vietnam and Brazil has reached US$6,416.27 million, with Vietnam importing US$4,188.70 million worth of goods and exporting US$2,227.57 million.

Vietnam-Brazil trade relations
Vietnam and Brazil established diplomatic relations in 1989 and have since expanded economic cooperation across agriculture, manufacturing and energy.
Brazil is Vietnam’s largest trading partner in South America, while Vietnam is Brazil’s biggest partner in ASEAN.
Bilateral trade has grown steadily, driven by Vietnamese imports of corn, soybeans, cotton and meat, and Brazilian purchases of electronics, textiles, footwear and machinery.
