Vietnam-Sweden trade relations
Vietnam and Sweden maintain a growing trade relationship supported by the EU–Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.
The two countries upgraded ties to a sectoral strategic partnership in 2025 to expand cooperation in science, technology and green innovation.
Despite steady growth, Vietnam’s exports remain concentrated in low-value segments, highlighting the need for improved standards and traceability to meet EU requirements.
Sweden remains an important partner for technology transfer and sustainable investment.
