Vietnam-Netherlands trade relations

Vietnam and the Netherlands maintain a long-standing trade relationship built on maritime connectivity, agricultural cooperation and investment.

The Netherlands is one of Vietnam’s largest European trading partners, supported by the EU–Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, which reduces tariffs and promotes market access for goods and services.

Dutch firms have played a significant role in logistics, seaports, renewable energy and high-tech agriculture, making the Netherlands a major investor in Vietnam.

Economic ties have expanded steadily since diplomatic relations were established and elevated to a comprehensive partnership in 2019.
