ToggleIn November, Vietnam imported US$60.83 million worth of goods from the Netherlands, down from US$76.80 million in October, a change of -20.80 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year, Vietnam has imported US$725 million worth of goods from Netherlands.
Vietnam imported US$13.23 million worth of machines, equipment, tools and instruments from the Netherlands in November. This was down from US$22.37 million in October, a change of -40.86 percent.
Vietnam imported US$5.86 million worth of pharmaceutical products from the Netherlands in November. This was up from US$3.57 million in October, a change of 64.18 percent.
Vietnam imported US$4.12 million worth of parts and accessories of motor vehicles from the Netherlands in November. This was down from US$5.40 million in October, a change of -23.59 percent.
Vietnam imported US$3.96 million worth of chemical products from the Netherlands in November. This was up from US$3.33 million in October, a change of 19.06 percent.

Vietnam exports to the Netherlands
In November, Vietnam exported US$1,165 million worth of goods to the Netherlands, down 5.56 percent over October, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year, Vietnam has exported US$12,190 million worth of goods to the Netherlands.

Vietnam trade with Netherlands
In November, Vietnam imported US$60.83 million worth of goods from Netherlands and exported US$1,165.41 million to Netherlands, for total trade worth US$1,226.23 million, and leaving a trade surplus of US$1,104.58 million.
Two-way trade so far this year between Vietnam and Netherlands has reached US$12,915 million, with Vietnam importing US$725 million worth of goods and exporting US$12,190 million worth of goods.

Recent developments involving the two countries include:
Vietnam–Netherlands consortium Danang port
Three major global port operators from the Netherlands, India and Luxembourg have submitted bids for the privately financed component of Da Nang’s Lien Chieu Port project.
The bidders are the Vietnam–Netherlands consortium of Hateco Group and APM Terminals, India’s Adani Ports with Vietnam’s T&T Group, and Vietnam’s VIMC with Terminal Investment Limited from Luxembourg.
The tender is scheduled to open on 24 December, with construction expected to start in quarter I 2026 if the process proceeds smoothly.
