Vietnam’s animal feed industry

Vietnam’s animal feed industry supports livestock, aquaculture and poultry production, supplying compound feed to both domestic farms and export oriented producers.

The sector relies heavily on imported raw materials such as corn and soybean meal, while domestic producers compete with large foreign invested feed companies.

Demand for animal feed is driven by rising meat consumption and the expansion of commercial farming models across Vietnam.

Producers are increasingly investing in biosecurity, traceability and efficiency to meet food safety requirements and reduce cost pressures.
