ToggleIn October, Vietnam imported US$61.45 million worth of goods from Belgium, down from US$90.21 million in September, a change of -31.88 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year, Vietnam has imported US$665 million worth of goods from Belgium.
Vietnam imported US$19.48 million worth of pharmaceutical products from Belgium in October. This was down from US$34.11 million in September, a change of -42.88 percent.
Vietnam imported US$12.89 million worth of machines, equipment, tools and instruments from Belgium in October. This was down from US$17.71 million in September, a change of -27.24 percent.
Vietnam imported US$4.08 million worth of precious stones, precious metal and articles from Belgium in October. This was down from US$6.93 million in September, a change of -41.08 percent.
Vietnam imported US$3.67 million worth of fertilisers from Belgium in October. This was up from US$3.35 million in September, a change of 9.59 percent.

Vietnam exports to Belgium
In October, Vietnam exported US$275 million worth of goods to Belgium, down 6.74 percent over September, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year, Vietnam has exported US$3,019 million worth of goods to Belgium.

Vietnam trade with Belgium
In October, Vietnam imported US$61.45 million worth of goods from Belgium and exported US$274.68 million, for total trade worth US$336.14 million, and leaving a trade surplus of US$213.23 million.
Two-way trade so far this year between Vietnam and Belgium has reached US$3,684 million, with Vietnam importing US$665 million worth of goods and exporting US$3,019 million worth of goods.

Vietnam-Belgium trade relations
Vietnam and Belgium maintain longstanding trade relations grounded in diplomatic ties established in the 1970s.
Bilateral trade has grown steadily, supported by cooperation within the EU framework.
The EU–Vietnam Free Trade Agreement provides tariff reductions that benefit both markets.
Key Vietnamese exports to Belgium include electronics, footwear, textiles and agricultural products.
