ToggleIn November, Vietnam imported US$39.23 million worth of goods from Belgium, down from US$61.45 million in October, a change of -36.16 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year, Vietnam has imported US$705 million worth of goods from Belgium.
Vietnam imported US$4.81 million worth of machines, equipment, tools and instruments from Belgium in November. This was down from US$12.89 million in October, a change of -62.70 percent.
Vietnam imported US$04.65 million worth of pharmaceutical products from Belgium in November. This was down from US$19.48 million in October, a change of -76.11 percent.
Vietnam imported US$4.62 million worth of plastics from Belgium in November. This was up from US$1.62 million in October, a change of 184.93 percent.
Vietnam imported US$4.62 million worth of precious stones, precious metals and articles from Belgium in November. This was up from US$4.08 million in October, a change of 13.16 percent.

Vietnam trade with Belgium
In November, Vietnam imported goods worth US$39.23 million from Belgium and exported US$269.49 million, bringing total trade to US$308.72 million and resulting in a trade surplus of US$230.26 million.
Two-way trade so far this year between Vietnam and Belgium has reached US$3,992.82 million, with Vietnam importing US$705.08 million worth of goods and exporting US$3,287.74 million.

Vietnam-Belgium trade relations
Vietnam and Belgium established diplomatic relations in 1973 and have since built stable trade and investment ties within the broader Vietnam European Union relationship.
Bilateral trade cooperation is supported by the European Union Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, with growing engagement in logistics, ports, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals and food processing.
