Vietnam’s toy and sports equipment exports rise over 30 percent in March

Vietnam exported US$470.60 million worth of toys and sports requisites in March, marking a 30.21 percent increase from February, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year-to-date exports reached US$1.23 billion, with the United States remaining the largest market at US$299.09 million, or nearly 64 percent of the total. Japan followed with US$41.88 million, while the UK and China imported US$15.44 million and US$15.39 million respectively. Germany posted the strongest monthly growth among major markets, rising 237.53 percent.

The overall March surge reflects continued global demand and seasonal shipment flows, although several markets such as the UK and Belgium posted slight declines compared to February.
