ToggleIn February, Vietnam imported US$578.54 million worth of goods from Singapore, down from US$663.42 million in January, a change of -12.79 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year, Vietnam has imported US$1,235 million worth of goods from Singapore.
Vietnam imported US$260.01 million worth of petroleum products from Singapore in February, up from US$244.85 million in January, a change of 6.19 percent.
Vietnam imported US$125.91 million worth of computers from Singapore in February, down from US$164.26 million in January, a change of -23.35 percent.
Vietnam imported US$47.23 million worth of other petroleum products from Singapore in February, down from US$64.23 million in January, a change of -26.46 percent.
Vietnam imported US$36.64 million worth of machines, equipment, tools and instruments from Singapore in February, up from US$33.23 million in January, a change of 10.28 percent.
Vietnam imported US$25.34 million worth of essential oils and resinoids; perfumery, cosmetic or toilet preparations from Singapore in February, down from US$31.97 million in January, a change of -20.75 percent.

Vietnam’s trade with Singapore this year
In February, Vietnam imported goods worth US$578.54 million from Singapore and exported US$334.65 million, bringing total trade to US$913.19 million and resulting in a trade deficit of US$243.90 million.
Two-way trade so far this year between Vietnam and Singapore has reached US$2,140.86 million, with Vietnam importing US$1,234.90 million worth of goods and exporting US$905.96 million.

Vietnam-Singapore trade relations
Vietnam and Singapore maintain one of Southeast Asia’s most established trade and investment relationships, underpinned by strong bilateral agreements and regional frameworks.
Singapore is consistently among Vietnam’s largest foreign investors, with capital concentrated in manufacturing, real estate, and industrial park development.
