In February, Vietnam imported US$155.63 million worth of goods from France, down from US$290.40 million in January, a change of -46.41 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year to date, Vietnam had imported US$445 million worth of goods from France by the end of February.
Vietnam imported US$29.64 million worth of other means of transportation, parts and accessories thereof from France in February, down from US$92.64 million in January, a decline of 68.01 percent.
Vietnam imported US$26.76 million worth of computers and US$25.33 million worth of pharmaceutical products from France in February, down 20.17 percent and 51.22 percent respectively from January.
Other products and machinery imports totalled US$22.72 million and US$10.17 million respectively, down 29.82 percent and 42.94 percent month on month.

Vietnam’s trade with France this year
In February, Vietnam imported goods worth US$155.63 million from France and exported US$288.19 million, bringing total trade to US$443.82 million and resulting in a trade surplus of US$132.56 million.
Two-way trade so far this year between Vietnam and France has reached US$1,147.09 million, with Vietnam importing US$444.94 million worth of goods and exporting US$702.15 million.
