Year to date, Vietnam had exported US$9,325 million worth of toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories by the end of December.
The USA accounted for US$604 million worth of Vietnam’s toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories exports in December. This was up from US$573 million in toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories exports in November, a change of 5.35 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$6,419 million worth of toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories to theUSA.
After the USA was Japan making up US$56 million worth of Vietnam’s toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories exports in December. This was up from US$51 million in toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories exports in November, a change of 9.36 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$544 million worth of toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories to Japan.
Next was the UK taking US$45 million worth of Vietnam’s toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories exports in December. This was up from US$24 million in toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories exports in November, a change of 91.35 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$325 million worth of toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories to the UK.
Following the UK was Netherlands representing US$28 million worth of Vietnam’s toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories exports in December. This was down from US$31 million in toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories exports in November, a change of -10.43 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$213 million worth of toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories to Netherlands.
Rounding out the top five was Australia constituting US$24 million worth of Vietnam’s toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories exports in December. This was up from US$20 million in toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories exports in November, a change of 17.59 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$147 million worth of toys and sports requisites; parts and accessories to Australia.

Duc Thanh Wood Processing JSC
Duc Thanh Wood Processing JSC (GDT) manufactures wooden household products, furniture, and toys for export markets.
GDT closed at VND 19,650 on Friday up 0.05 percent with 125,000 shares traded, worth VND 246 million.
Foreign ownership in GDT is currently capped at 49.9 percent, with current foreign ownership sitting at 5.8 percent.

Vietnam’s toys / sporting goods industry
Vietnam’s toys and sporting goods industry is export-oriented, supplying global brands with products ranging from plastic toys and board games to sporting goods components, helmets and accessories, supported by competitive labour costs and established manufacturing zones.
Production in Vietnam is largely driven by foreign-invested manufacturers, with supply chains reliant on imported raw materials and moulds, while local firms are gradually increasing value added through design, tooling and compliance with international safety standards.
