ToggleVietnam exported plastic products to the tune of US$619 million in November, down from US$641 million in October, a change of -3.35 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year to date, Vietnam had exported US$6,758 million worth of plastic products by the end of November.
The USA accounted for US$312 million worth of Vietnam’s plastic products exports in November. This was down from US$333 million in plastic products exports in October, a change of -6.21 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$3,399 million worth of plastic products to the USA.
After the USA was Japan making up US$67 million worth of Vietnam’s plastic products exports in November. This was up from US$64 million in plastic products exports in October, a change of 4.67 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$684 million worth of plastic products to Japan.
Next was South Korea taking US$23 million worth of Vietnam’s plastic products exports in November. This was down from US$25 million in plastic products exports in October, a change of -9.31 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$265 million worth of plastic products to South Korea.
Following South Korea was China representing US$19 million worth of Vietnam’s plastic products exports in November. This was down from US$20 million in plastic products exports in October, a change of -2.29 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$186 million worth of plastic products to China.
Rounding out the top five was India constituting US$18 million worth of Vietnam’s plastic products exports in November. This was down from US$21 million in plastic products exports in October, a change of -14.71 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$253 million worth of plastic products to India.

Vietnam’s plastic products industry
