Vietnam’s plastic exports experience 29.3 percent drop in November
China remained the largest importer, purchasing US$24.4 million of Vietnamese plastics, although this represented a sharp 59.42 percent decline from the previous month.
Swedish tourist arrivals in Vietnam increase by 53.66 percent in November
Year-to-date, Swedish arrivals reached 28,554, reflecting a 27.2 percent growth compared to the same period last year. Sweden remains a steadily growing European source market for Vietnam’s tourism industry.
Vietnam’s plastic product exports remain stable in November
Year-to-date exports of plastic products totalled US$6.07 billion. The United States emerged as the leading importer with US$2.74 billion, marking a 5.27 percent month-on-month increase. Notable growth was also observed in exports to Thailand, which increased by 21.66 percent. However, exports to South Korea and India faced declines of 8.70 percent and 15.38 percent, respectively.
Vietnam’s electrical equipment production falls slightly month-on-month
Year-on-year, the industry recorded a substantial growth rate of 13.23 percent in November 2024 compared to the same month in 2023. Over the first 11 months of 2024, cumulative growth stood at 11.26 percent, reflecting the sector’s importance in Vietnam’s industrial output.
Malaysian tourist arrivals in Vietnam decline slightly by 1.46 percent in November
Year-to-date, Malaysian arrivals reached 301,440, marking a 19.6 percent growth compared to the same period last year. Malaysia continues to be a key ASEAN market for Vietnam’s tourism industry, contributing steadily to its recovery.
Vietnam’s tyre cord fabrics exports show steady growth
The United States remained the leading market, importing US$14.34 million, with only a slight decline of 1.01 percent from October. South Korea followed with US$8.97 million, marking a robust 19.72 percent increase.
