Vietnam exported US$64.68 million worth of tyre cord fabrics and other technical-use fabrics in November 2024, reflecting a 2.90 percent month-on-month increase, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Year-to-date exports reached US$715.03 million, underscoring the industry’s resilience despite global economic uncertainties.
The United States remained the leading market, importing US$14.34 million, with only a slight decline of 1.01 percent from October. South Korea followed with US$8.97 million, marking a robust 19.72 percent increase. However, exports to Japan dropped by 25.36 percent to US$4.21 million. Notably, Luxembourg imported US$3.47 million, maintaining its position as a significant European buyer.
This performance highlights Vietnam’s growing expertise in producing specialised fabrics, meeting diverse global needs, particularly in automotive and industrial applications.
