Vietnam’s chemical product exports reached US$218.74 million in November, representing a 7.5 percent month-on-month increase, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Year-to-date export values totalled US$2.46 billion, showcasing resilience in this key industrial sector.
China was the largest importer of Vietnamese chemical products, with US$44.71 million, though it experienced a slight drop of 4.61 percent from October. Laos recorded the most substantial growth, with a 139.44 percent increase to US$31.52 million. Meanwhile, Indonesia and Thailand saw steady growth at 32.08 percent and 6.64 percent, respectively. South Korea, however, experienced a notable decline of 23.5 percent to US$8.48 million.
The growth of chemical product exports highlights Vietnam’s capacity to meet diverse market demands, despite fluctuating global economic conditions.
