Vietnam’s rubber exports amounted to US$441.26 million in November, reflecting a 2.9 percent increase compared to October, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. The year-to-date value for rubber exports has reached US$2.97 billion, underscoring the sector’s importance to Vietnam’s trade portfolio.
China was the largest importer of Vietnamese rubber, purchasing US$368.75 million, an 11.01 percent rise from the previous month. Malaysia and the USA saw significant declines of 31.73 percent and 26.43 percent, respectively. In contrast, Japan reported robust growth, with imports climbing by 40.06 percent to US$3.11 million. Other notable markets included South Korea and Indonesia, which posted moderate increases in demand.
Vietnam’s rubber industry continues to be a cornerstone of the country’s agricultural exports, maintaining resilience despite fluctuations in demand across different markets.
