Vietnam’s exports of animal fodder and fodder materials totaled US$92.54 million in November 2024, representing a 4.64 percent month-on-month decrease, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Year-to-date exports reached US$941.93 million, maintaining the sector’s critical role in Vietnam’s agricultural trade.
China led as the top importer, purchasing US$39.96 million, an 8.26 percent increase from October. Cambodia followed with US$11.17 million, although this marked a significant decline of 23.36 percent. The United States, the third-largest market, experienced a sharp drop of 30.66 percent, importing US$8.36 million. Other notable markets included Malaysia and Laos, both recording decreases of 14.85 percent and 12.05 percent, respectively.
This data underscores the diverse global demand for Vietnam’s animal fodder products, with China continuing as the dominant buyer and fluctuations observed in other key markets.
