Vietnam’s essential oils and cosmetics imports rise by 4.86 percent in March

Vietnam’s imports of essential oils and resinoids, as well as perfumery, cosmetic, or toilet preparations, reached US$128.93 million in March, a 4.86 percent increase compared to February. The year-to-date (YTD) total stood at US$345.39 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Imports from Singapore led the category with US$30.98 million, although this marked a 13.81 percent decline from February. South Korea followed with US$19.44 million, a 16.95 percent increase, while China recorded US$19.32 million in imports, reflecting a 25.84 percent rise.
