Vietnam’s rubber imports fell nearly 11 percent in March

Vietnam imported US$219.77 million worth of rubber in March, down 10.73 percent from February, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. The year-to-date total reached US$744.57 million.

Cambodia remained Vietnam’s top supplier, though shipments fell 41.82 percent to US$43.74 million. China’s exports rose sharply by 43.77 percent to US$39.98 million, overtaking South Korea, which posted a modest 2.57 percent increase. Imports from Thailand and Taiwan also rose, while those from Japan and Laos recorded declines. Myanmar saw a significant surge of 220.29 percent.
