Vietnam’s clinker and cement exports rise by 47.98 percent in February 2025

Vietnam’s exports of clinker and cement increased by 47.98 percent in February 2025 compared to January, reaching US$113.08 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Vietnam’s clinker and cement exports total US$189.66 million for 2025, driven by robust growth in key export markets.

The rise in exports was largely due to a significant increase in shipments to the Philippines, which saw an 82.64 percent rise, amounting to US$31.74 million. Exports to Bangladesh and Taiwan also showed positive growth, increasing by 18.24 percent and 36.07 percent, respectively. Exports to Cambodia and Laos increased by 40.05 percent and 24.20 percent, respectively.

However, some markets experienced a decline. Exports to Malaysia and Saudi Arabia saw a drop of 38.75 percent and 100.00 percent, respectively. Additionally, exports to Chile and Peru decreased by 9.09 percent and 3.25 percent.
