Vietnam’s exports of cashew nuts decreased by 21.49 percent in February 2025 compared to January, reaching US$199.64 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Vietnam’s cashew nut exports total US$455.38 million for 2025, showing a slight decline in February but remaining a significant source of export revenue.
The decline in exports was primarily driven by reduced shipments to the USA and the UAE, which saw a 11.59 percent and 46.42 percent drop, amounting to US$48.71 million and US$6.84 million, respectively. Exports to Saudi Arabia, Germany, and Canada also showed significant declines, dropping by 63.12 percent, 20.91 percent, and 29.42 percent, respectively.
However, some markets showed strong growth. Exports to China saw a 47.48 percent increase, amounting to US$26.55 million, and exports to Taiwan saw a remarkable growth of 141.37 percent. Exports to Lithuania, Spain, and Israel also increased by 3.63 percent, 7.54 percent, and 32.62 percent, respectively.
