Vietnam-Hong Kong trade relations
Trade relations between Vietnam and Hong Kong are anchored in Hong Kong’s role as a long-standing trading hub and gateway for Vietnam’s exports and imports.
The relationship operates without a bilateral free trade agreement, but is supported by Vietnam’s participation in World Trade Organization frameworks and the ASEAN–Hong Kong Free Trade Agreement, which entered into force in 2019.
