Vietnam exported US$533.67 million worth of goods to the UAE in August, up 1.59 percent from July, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year-to-date exports reached US$3.92 billion.
Telephones and parts dominated with US$295.29 million, making up 55.43 percent of total exports.
Computers and electronic products followed at US$66.04 million, nearly 10 percent of the total, while machinery contributed US$34.13 million.
Other key exports included cashew nuts at US$17.90 million, footwear at US$15.08 million, and textiles at US$12.28 million.
Cashew exports surged 78.27 percent month-on-month, while transportation parts more than tripled to US$10.57 million.
In contrast, fruits, vegetables, and pepper saw sharp declines.
Vietnam’s export structure to the UAE reflects the country’s broader global profile: heavy reliance on phones and electronics, with cashews and footwear providing secondary growth.
