Vietnam exported US$364.89 million worth of goods to Spain in August, down 3.75 percent from US$379.09 million in July, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year-to-date exports reached US$2.85 billion.
Vietnamese coffee led with US$44.23 million in August, up 11.41 percent month-on-month and accounting for 17.11 percent of year-to-date exports.
Textiles and garments followed at US$69.02 million, slightly higher than July, representing nearly 15 percent of the total.
Phones and components rose 9.95 percent to US$52.06 million, while computers surged 53.80 percent to US$32.47 million.
In contrast, footwear slipped 14.21 percent to US$39.36 million and wood products fell 18.15 percent to US$4.01 million.
Iron and steel exports dropped sharply from US$40.52 million in July to just US$4.08 million in August, though year-to-date shipments remained sizeable at US$188.11 million.
Cashew nut, fishery products, and toys posted steady contributions.
