Vietnam exported goods worth US$482.69 million to Singapore in August, down 9.6 percent from US$533.72 million in July, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year-to-date exports reached US$3.87 billion.
Key export items included computers at US$165.71 million, machinery at US$92.02 million, and glassware at US$54.36 million.
Telephones contributed US$19.36 million, while petroleum products accounted for US$10.33 million.
Crude oil exports stood at US$19.47 million, unchanged from July.
Other significant categories were transport equipment at US$15.99 million, fishery products at US$8.99 million, and rice at US$8.23 million.
Footwear added US$7.49 million, while textiles dropped sharply to US$6.22 million.
