Singapore
Singapore emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $30,375,733.
This represents a -14.11 percent month-on-month change from May.
Singapore’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $190,490,617, accounting for 26.38 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
South Korea
South Korea followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $18,052,227.
This figure indicates a -6.91 percent month-on-month change.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these imports is $106,746,771, representing 14.78 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
China
China secured the third position in June with imports totaling $15,726,467.
This indicates a -6.21 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of essential oils and resinoids; perfumery, cosmetic or toilet preparations is $96,941,934, making up 13.42 percent of the total YTD imports.
Thailand
Thailand contributed $14,917,835 worth of essential oils and resinoids; perfumery, cosmetic or toilet preparations in June.
Notably, Thailand experienced a -1.71 percent month-on-month decrease.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $76,943,521, accounting for 10.66 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
USA
The USA rounded out the top five import sources with $9,065,029 in June imports.
This country saw a -13.28 percent month-on-month decrease.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these imports is $57,397,008, representing 7.95 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
