China
China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $186,771,570.
This represents an 8.71 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $969,725,410, accounting for 36.78 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
Thailand
Thailand followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $63,793,647.
This figure indicates a 1.52 percent month-on-month change.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $363,607,921, representing 13.79 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
South Korea
South Korea secured the third position in June with imports totaling $63,726,124.
This indicates a -27.20 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of parts and accessories of motor vehicles is $477,648,463, making up 18.11 percent of the total YTD imports.
Japan
Japan contributed $60,466,002 worth of parts and accessories of motor vehicles in June.
Notably, Japan experienced a 6.18 percent month-on-month increase.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $314,402,170, accounting for 11.92 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
India
India rounded out the top five import sources with $28,319,884 in June imports.
This country saw a -2.87 percent month-on-month decrease.
India’s year-to-date total for these imports is $169,882,211, representing 6.44 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
