Ceramic products exports from Vietnam up 9.70 percent in December, USA / Japan top buyers

Vietnam exported ceramic products to the tune of US$69 million in December, up from US$63 million in November, a change of 9.70 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year to date, Vietnam had exported US$666 million worth of ceramic products by the end of December.

The USA accounted for US$20 million worth of Vietnam’s ceramic products exports in December. This was up from US$18 million in ceramic products exports in November, a change of 11.85 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$169 million worth of ceramic products to the USA.

After the USA was Japan making up US$8 million worth of Vietnam’s ceramic products exports in December. This was up from US$8 million in ceramic products exports in November, a change of 1.24 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$89 million worth of ceramic products to Japan.

Next was Taiwan taking US$5 million worth of Vietnam’s ceramic products exports in December. This was up from US$5 million in ceramic products exports in November, a change of 15.35 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$63 million worth of ceramic products to Taiwan.

Following Taiwan was the UK representing US$5 million worth of Vietnam’s ceramic products exports in December. This was up from US$3 million in ceramic products exports in November, a change of 54.54 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$34 million worth of ceramic products to the UK.

Rounding out the top five was Germany constituting US$3 million worth of Vietnam’s ceramic products exports in December. This was down from US$3 million in ceramic products exports in November, a change of -10.37 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$19 million worth of ceramic products to Germany.
