Vietnam’s exports of animal fodders and animal fodder materials reached US$121.39 million in April 2025, according to figures released by Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. This represents an increase of 10.32 percent compared to March, with a year-to-date (YTD) export value of US$388.11 million.
China is the top export market with significant growth:
China was the leading export market for Vietnam’s animal fodders and animal fodder materials in April, with exports valued at US$60.42 million. This marks an increase of 6.36 percent from March and accounts for a dominant 45.56 percent of the total year-to-date exports.
Cambodia sees substantial growth to become a key export market:
Cambodia was the second-largest export market in April, with exports valued at US$14.30 million, a significant increase of 23.72 percent from the previous month. Cambodia accounts for 12.41 percent of the year-to-date exports.
USA records significant growth:
Exports to the USA experienced a substantial increase of 21.46 percent in April, reaching US$10.15 million. The USA accounts for 8.07 percent of the year-to-date exports.
Malaysia sees moderate growth:
Exports to Malaysia rose by 6.23 percent in April, reaching US$8.61 million, contributing 8.55 percent to the year-to-date total.
Significant month-on-month increases and decreases:
Indonesia experienced the largest month-on-month increase at 126.99 percent, followed by Bangladesh and Taiwan. Conversely, the Philippines experienced the most significant decrease at 27.90 percent, followed by Singapore.
