Natural gas production in Vietnam up 18.25 percent in September 2025
Vietnam’s natural gas production rose to 501 million cubic metres in September 2025, up 18.25 percent from 424 million cubic metres in August, according to the National Statistics Office.
Thailand supplies US$1.10 billion of Vietnam imports in September, down 1.5 percent month-on-month
Vietnam imported goods worth US$1.10 billion from Thailand in September 2025, down 1.5 percent from August, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Year-to-date imports reached US$9.69 billion, maintaining Thailand’s position among Vietnam’s top regional suppliers.
Malaysia takes US$440 million of Vietnam’s exports in September, up 0.94 percent month-on-month
Vietnam exported goods worth US$436.8 million to Malaysia in September 2025, down 0.9 percent from August, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Year-to-date exports reached US$3.89 billion, maintaining Malaysia’s status as one of Vietnam’s key ASEAN trade partners.
Vietnam’s average monthly salary up 9.4 percent year-on-year in Q3 2025
Vietnam’s average monthly wage reached VND 8.37 million or US$318 in the third quarter of 2025, up 9.44 percent from a year earlier, according to the latest data from the National Statistics Office.
Car sales in Vietnam rebound 21 percent month-on-month in September
Vietnam’s auto market saw a sharp recovery in September 2025, with total sales reaching 26,291 units, up 21 percent from August but still 18 percent lower than the same month last year, according to the latest data from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA).
