Vietnam’s coal production sees growth in February 2025
Vietnam’s coal production has shown notable progress in the first two months of 2025. According to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Office of Statistics, the country produced 3.44 million tons of coal in January 2025. In February, this figure rose to an estimated 3.77 million tons.
Vietnam’s pharmaceutical product imports surge 42.78 percent in February 2025
Vietnam’s pharmaceutical product imports jumped 42.78 percent month-on-month in February, reaching US$360.72 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Year-to-date, total imports have reached US$613.34 million, reflecting strong demand for medical supplies.
Vietnam’s pharmaceutical material imports rise 7.04 percent in February 2025
Vietnam’s imports of pharmaceutical materials increased by 7.04 percent month-on-month in February, reaching US$39.20 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Year-to-date, total imports stand at US$75.82 million, with China remaining the dominant supplier.
Vietnam’s petroleum product imports decline 12.18 percent in February 2025
Vietnam’s imports of petroleum products fell by 12.18 percent month-on-month in February, amounting to US$517.80 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. This brings total year-to-date imports to US$1.11 billion.

Vietnam’s imports of pastry, sweets, and cereal products increased by 20.03 percent month-on-month in February, reaching US$48.61 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
